Taye Drums Announces Endorser Bruce Aitken Appearing In Clinic At Musicstop Sydney November 30, 2004

Taye Drums announced today Endorser Bruce Aitken will be featured in Clinic at Musicstop Sydney Tuesday, 30 November 2004. He will be appearing with Keith Dawson, drummer for the ECMA Award winning band 'Forever, who will be featured on electronic drums and percussion.

(PRWEB) November 25, 2004 -- Taye Drums announced today Endorser Bruce Aitken will be featured in Clinic at Musicstop Sydney Tuesday, 30 November 2004. He will be appearing with Keith Dawson, drummer for the ECMA Award winning band 'Forever, who will be featured on electronic drums and percussion.

The Clinic will be held from 6:30 -- 9:00pm at Taye Drums dealer Musicstop in Sydney NS, and is being offered to the public free of charge. Reservations are recommended; call Musicstop directly at 902-539-5030. Attendees are requested to bring at one or more non-perishable food items (more is better) to be collected and donated to the Sydney Food Bank.

Bruce and Keith will be demonstrating drumming concepts and techniques, as well as performing pieces from their recently recorded debut CD 'Project A.D., which features rhythms and sounds from their respective cultures and musical backgrounds. Bruce, born in New Zealand, now makes his home in Cape Breton; Keith is a Mi'q mak native from Eskasoni near Sydney. They are currently planning a Clinic tour scheduled to visit a number of schools and reserves in the Atlantic Provinces.

Bruce Aitken is the co-founder of the annual Cape Breton International Drum Festival and recent winner of the 2004 MIANS Musician of the Year Award. He is also one of several top drummers soon to be featured in the new Taye StudioMaple 'The Most Important Thing ad campaign.
