Actor Thomas Poarch: Career in High Gear

Actor Thomas Poarch currently in rehearsals for NYC production of Paula Vogel's "The Long Christmas Ride Home." Just completed shooting for the independent feature film, "The Ones You Love." Recently shot industrial/promo videos for Altria, Pepsico, and Panasonic, as well as a commercial spot for LifeLock. In conversation with Brazil's TV Globo for a leading role in a new Prime Time soap opera (novela).

New York, NY (PRWeb) February 15, 2007 -- Actor Thomas Poarch is currently in rehearsals for the Red Fern Theatre's (http://www.redferntheatre.org) March production of Paula Vogel's "The Long Christmas Ride Home." He will play the character of "Man" (Narrator, Father, et al.). He just completed shooting the role of "Gary" (a grieving father) in the ensemble cast of the independent feature film, "The Ones You Love." He is currently shooting in Connecticut for the jury selected screenplay short, "Fugue," in the lead role of "Martin."

Thomas recently shot industrial/promo videos for Altria, Pepsico, and Panasonic, as well as a commercial spot for LifeLock. He also provides voice-over talent for an on-line virtual university MBA program where he plays the role of Robert Powers, powerful CEO of a family company.

Thomas has been in conversation with Brazil's TV Globo for the leading male role in their new Prime Time soap opera (novela) entitled "Eterna Magia," starring Malu Mader. He is one of few professional American actors fluent in Portuguese. In South America, Thomas is represented by the Brazilian talent agency, Montenegro e Raman. He is currently available for representation in North America.

His comedy improv work can regularly be seen at The National Comedy Theater - NYC, where he is a main company cast member. He is also in production rehearsals for a new improv team called "Three Men Make a Tiger," coached by Charlie Sanders - star performer of The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
