The demand for adventure and wizardry in fiction seems to have hoisted a big load upon writers nowadays. Especially on children and youth writers. It is pretty tough to argue when millions of kids are clamoring for what they consider as premium fare in books and movies.

Their new book, The Greatest King, is replete with characters culled from childhood fantasies...a gargantuan troll-like character with incredible strength, an elfin character with a wizards touch, an outlandish "entertainer" for pudgy comic-relief and a young hero in search of something altogether world-changing and spiritually uplifting. Sounds familiar? Well, this could just about turn childrens heads long enough to learn about Jesus Christ. And thats probably the best thing about the book.
