Syracuse, N.Y. 2003 - 2ndNature, a Central New York-based interactive design and development studio has been awarded a number of worldwide interactive design assignments by Welch Allyn, Inc. of Skaneateles, NY.

One of the new assignments is for Welch Allyns Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regional marketing organization. Web pages are being created to provide country-specific landing" or gateway pages for approximately 14 countries. The pages will offer each countrys Welch Allyn office an Internet presence with contact information and lead generation forms, localized corporate information, along with links to Welch Allyn product distributors, catalogs and the Welch Allyn corporate website. Each Website will provide translated content to accommodate local language requirements. Asia-Pacific countries are slated for similar Websites in the near future.

Additionally, 2ndNature has been assigned the design and development of an EMEA distributor portal to provide Welch Allyn distributors throughout the European, Middle East and African region with sales, service, training, support and contact information. The portal will feature a dynamic database-driven content management system for easy updates to distributor news, announcements, corporate acquisitions, sales and service documents, price lists and product catalogs.

Also, 2ndNature designed and produced a 1.5-minute motion graphics tradeshow presentation for Welch Allyns PanOptic ophthalmoscope. The presentation featured 3D animations of the PanOptic unit and full motion video highlighting its advantages and applications. Welch Allyns PanOptic ophthalmoscope provides a 5X larger view of the fundus than ever before achieved with a standard ophthalmoscope in an undilated eye. The presentation was authored using Adobe AfterEffects and deployed on DVD for display on a 42" plasma screen.
