VideoPoke Now Available on Facebook

New widget from Singing Fool puts music back into Valentine's Day.

Haddon Heights, NJ (Billboard Publicity Wire) January 31, 2008 -- Singing Fool is pleased to announce the release of Video Poke, its new music video widget created expressly for Facebook users. Facebook users will be able to post music videos from the company's enormous catalog to their page, and dedicate music videos to their friends. What really distinguishes Video Poke, however, is the ability to design custom intros featuring the Singing Fool himself when they share a new favorite performance.

"Many of us remember the old radio days when you could call up and have a song dedicated to your sweetie," notes Singing Fool Director of Technology Bob Kolo. "So we designed Video Poke as the 21st century version, meaning it's available to everyone on demand, and is customizable."

Most important is that the new widget is easy to use and can be set up on a Facebook page in just a couple of minutes.

"With Valentine's Day just around the corner we expect to see millions of couples using the service to nudge their sweethearts with romantic videos," says Rhodes Mason, Director of Business Development. "Our library can handle anything from 'Because You Loved Me' by Celine Dion to 'My Boo' by Usher and Alicia Keyes. Or think of it this way, we've got everything from 'Brand New Girlfriend' to 'Exgirlfriend.'"

To try Video Poke just go to Music Video Poke at Facebook (http://apps.facebook.com/musicvideopoke).

Singing Fool hosts a top independent site for music video with a library of over 14,000 titles, a weekly newsletter, and a subscriber base of over half a million hardcore music video fans which combine to make it one of the key tastemaker sites in the marketplace. SingingFool.com is where the buzz begins.
