Veramar Vineyard again takes 3 more medals for Chardonnay, Chambourcin & Tres Blanc Two years in a row Veramar Wines Win at Virginia Governers Cup. Washington, DC --Veramar Chardonnay, Chambourcin & Tres Blanc each received medals at this years Governors Cup Competition, also known as the Virginia Wine Awards, is the most prestigious competition held annually for wines exclusively from Virginia.
Veramar Chardonnay, Chambourcin and Tres Blanc each won a bronze medal at the 2003 Virginia Governors Cup. Jim Bogaty, Veramar Vineyard owner comments, This marks the second year in a row that Veramar won at the Virginia Governors cup. As a new Vineyard we find the fact that we have now won in competitions over a couple of years, supports the fact that we are on the road to consistently great wines."
