AXIS HCN ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGE Dr. Gene Emmer appointed VP Business Development Hoofdoorp, The Netherlands(PRWEB) September 22 2003-- Axis HCN has appointed Dr. Gene Emmer as Vice President Business Development with overall responsibility for leading the companys sales and marketing efforts. Genes initial focus will be to lead the development of the US market for Axis.
Gene brings to Axis more than 14 years of international pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience. He has lead sales and marketing efforts for Hoffmann La Roche in Switzerland, Greece and The UK and Roberts pharmaceuticals in the US (now part of Shire Pharmaceuticals) and was Director of Corporate Communications and Country Manager for Yamanouchi Pharmaceuticals. Gene graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelors degree in Physiology. He earned his Ph.D. in Physiology from The State University of NY, and his Masters Degree in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management.
