Creator of 10 Things I Hate About Christianity Shares 10 Essential Lessons Learned While Writing His First Book
Jason T. Berggren author of 10 Things I Hate About Christianity: Working Through the Frustrations of Faith shares the 10 essential lessons he learned while writing his book.
Atlanta, GA (Vocus/PRWEB ) May 27, 2009 -- Most people have a suitcase full of dreams collecting dust somewhere. This is how Jason T. Berggren author of 10 Things I Hate About Christianity: Working Through the Frustrations of Faith begins his latest work as he shares some personal insight. Berggren is debuting the 10 Things Newsletter with an article humorously entitled 10 Things I Hate About Accomplishing Goals. In it the writer reveals 10 essential and unavoidable real-life lessons he confronted while bringing his dream (his first book) into reality.
As Berggren deconstructs the process of bringing his idea into actuality, he reveals the 10 fundamental lessons applicable to nearly any situation. These range from the conceptual to the practical and include such truisms as momentum, time (or lack thereof), money, and doubt.
On momentum, Berggren reflects, "You need momentum bad. It is the make-or-break thing. I have found two critical ingredients that make up momentum: 1) support and 2) validation. Without those two you will stall. Support is your wife liking your idea and letting you pursue it. Validation is someone actually buying your book."
Readers are already expressing gratitude to Berggren for sharing the 10 to-the-point lessons. Tina remarked, "Thank you, Jason! This is really inspiring. It comes at a perfect time in my (writing) career, as I'm sure it does many others. Thanks for telling it straight-out."
While Berggren admits there was great relief finishing his first book, the author confesses it was easier said than done. He states, "It is by far the hardest thing I've ever set my heart and mind to. This may be why I've both loved and hated the entire process."
In future editions of the 10 Things Newsletter Berggren will continue to deal with ongoing life-lessons and practical issues. To read more about the newsletter, his outspoken new book, or watch the first of his two ABC News interviews visit www.10thingsihate.com.
