WellStar Health System has licensed from The KRC Group its AIMDatabase product. The product provides IT departments with application information not previously available.

The licensing of AIMDatabase by WellStar Health System was announced by The KRC Group, Inc. and WellStar Health System today in Marietta, Georgia.

AIMDatabase (Application Information Management Database) has been licensed by WellStar Health System for use by their Information Compliance Management and Information Systems Departments. With the increasing demands for health care organizations to inventory and monitor their software for security, the AIMDatabase becomes the tool for maintaining a list of all software and hardware at any site. New regulatory laws from agencies such as HIPAA have mandated risk analysis of all software and hardware.

Transmission records of electronic files, encryption and patient data elements are just a few of the items that help the organization meet compliance requirements. Besides meeting these needs, AIMDatabase presents the Information Technology departments with full inventories of software and hardware, providing administration with downtime statistics, productivity and documentation.
