SUNNYVALE, September 20th 2001
The following was released by the Senior Management team of The Caring Company:

The Caring Company family was shocked and grieved by the series of events on September 11, 2001. We express our deepest sympathy to the families and friends of all those who lost their lives, and honor and offer our best wishes for a speedy recovery to those who survived last week's Attack on America. We continue to be amazed at the tireless spirit, and courageous efforts by the individuals and organizations who have and continue to work so diligently in the rescue, relief, and recovery operations.

Starting September 20, 2001 100% of the proceeds from the "America Remembered" tribute plaques, mugs, or memorial card packs will be donated directly to the American Red Cross. The Caring Company will also be donating a portion of the proceeds generated by the sales of their "Forever Memories" tribute gifts to the American Red Cross. "We have all been impacted deeply by this series of events, and want to help. We know the Red Cross will utilize the funds exactly where needed.", said Mary Memolo, Vice President of Marketing.

On Monday Sept 17, 2001 The Caring Company donated "America Remembered" wearable memorial cards to the San Francisco "Day of Remembrance" which was attended by more than one hundred Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other clergy, as well as former Secretary of State George Shultz, Governor Gray Davis, U.S. Senator Dianne Fienstein, and other dignitaries. Many of the over 7,000 attendees wore the tribute cards depicting the American Flag with a heart in mourning.
