(PRWEB) April 23, 2004 -- The 12th annual Kidney Cancer Association Survivor & Patient Conference will be held in Chicago July 23 through 25, 2004, at Chicago's O'Hare Hilton Hotel. Details will be posted on the KCA website (www.nkca.org), when available. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with leading research investigators in renal cell carcinoma. Invited speakers include physicians from major medical institutions, the National Cancer Institute, and representatives from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

There are approximately 200,000 adults living with renal cancer in the United States and more than 180,000 cases are diagnosed globally each year. The disease claims the lives of 12,000 Americans each year. The KCA serves as an advocate on behalf of patients, provides educational materials to physicians and families, and directly funds research. The organization represents 60-thousand constituents in the U.S. and 90 foreign countries from offices in suburban Chicago.
