Its Your Money. Keep More Of It.
(Seattle, WA) -- How many people know that a 2.99% credit card is a 17% loan? How can mortgage brokers take your money without your knowledge or permission? Why is 92% of our extra income used to pay debt?
People want less debt, more money in savings or retirement, better credit and financial stability. The biggest reason we dont have these things is education. We never learned how. Money Metrics workshops, web conferences, books and college classes teach people how to handle money better.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) June 2, 2004 --- How many people know that a 2.99% credit card is a 17% loan? How can mortgage brokers take your money without your knowledge or permission? Why do 70% of Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck? Why is 92% of our extra income used to pay debt?
In todays economy people work harder, save less and borrow more. People want less debt, more money in savings or retirement, better credit and financial stability. The biggest reason we dont have these things is education. We never learned how.
Money Metrics provides the educational foundation for financial stability. People learn why money is active and why they need to control it (before it controls them), why credit cards are different from other loans, what a spending plan does for you, steps to get out of debt, emergency funds, mortgage pitfalls, home loan options and more.
When I was a firefighter the goal was to help people. I use different tools now, but the goal is the same. Sometimes people call because its an emergency, there is an immediate problem. Other times they just have a feeling they could be doing better and they need a little financial fire prevention and education," said former fire department Lieutenant Bob Pessemier, who designed and delivers the workshops.
This is the information I wish I had when I was just getting started. I see people struggle now because they dont have the basic education about how to handle money. And it doesnt matter what income a person has, if they didnt learn the basics they still have the problems. Its a matter of scale. There is a big difference between income statement rich and balance sheet rich. We help people understand how to improve their personal balance sheet."
The people who have attended this workshop give tremendously positive feedback. They all learn something new. Money is the biggest problem most of us face. Education is the answer. Its your money. Keep more of it. Learn how.
The workshops are free and can be delivered on-site or through web conferencing. The workshop will also be taught at Bellevue Community College starting this fall. Information is also contained in Mr. Pessemiers book, The Money Metrics Manual.
