Urban Public To Open Landmark Boutique in South Dallas

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) June 2, 2004 -- The design team of Leonard Nolen and April Smith has joined forces with fashion designer George Linicomn and home fashions designer Tonia Pryor to open a boutique called Urban Public in South Dallas.
   
Urban Public is going to be the beginning of a fashion revolution for Dallas and part of the beginning of the revitalization of South Dallas (aka: SODA")," said Smith. We are going to offer an eclectic mix of affordable, cutting-edge clothing, jewelry, house wares and artwork from local designers and artists who are talented and hungry to make a name for themselves," said Smith.    

At Urban Public, youll see items that represent your life and your style," said Nolen. The boutique will carry a signature line of urban contemporary clothes under the boutiques name--Urban Public," as well as Linicomns patented line of woven blue jeans called G.E.I. (Good, Evolution, International) and a premiere clothing line from Grand Prairie based mosaic artist H3 and others.

Our goal is to make Urban Public, the boutique for the urban chic," said Linicomn. People are going to love this store because you wont have to be a size 2 to wear our clothes and you wont have to spend a weeks salary just to buy a T-shirt," said Pryor.

Urban Public will open by mid-July and is located at 3613-B Parry Street in Exposition Park, across the street from the Womens Museum.
