Caribbean Las Vegas hopes to perform for the US Troops in Iraq.
Rupert Henry, the king of the steel drums has performed in Las Vegas for well over twenty years and his new wife Queeny, the songstress, would very much like to perform our Troops in Iraq by the early Spring. They have just released a New CD entitled 'All of us are one. "The song entitled "9-1-1" is especially dedicated to our Troops in Iraq and abroad therefore we would like to perform for them and give them a real treat and show our appreciation for a great sacrifice and a job well done," says Rupert.
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) April 17, 2005 -- The dynamic Duo has all original music of Calypso with a Jazz Twist with Hits like: 911... A Tragedy we all share. "Drunky..." is a life saver about Drunk Driving, We are looking for this to become the National theme Songfor the; Drink and Drive, You Lose Campaign!
Rupert, a native of the Virgin Islands, US has dedicated his life to helping others and teaching kids. He wants to raise the energy and consciousness of the world through his music which reveres the love he has for America. His music personifies love and well being, Pure Joy.
Rupert is a highly sensitive, spiritual, and a very talented Steel Drummer, also called the pan. He learned to play the 'pan' when it was invented and he is one of ten players in the world who makes them. As a boy growing up in Antigua, West Indies, He was disciplined by his mother for playing the pans. Back then, it was seen as unproductive and as a gang activity. Twenty years, the steel drums would be the official instrument of Calypso Music.
"After we play for our troops then we can begin to concentrate touring in the states." We anticipate a One Love Caribbean Family Feastible Tour of the major cities in the US this Summer. Private and Corporate Sponsors are welcome to support this event.
