Deadly Hurricanes Can be Stopped
The National Hurricane Center recently released predictions for 2006 Atlantic Storm Season. Another hyper-active year, the numbers are slightly higher than the predictions for last year’s record setting season. The trend continues to increase, causing more damage, destruction, death and heartache. Something must be done about it! A company in storm-wracked Florida says they have the solution.
Clearwater Florida (PRWEB) June 1, 2006 -- Stopping hurricanes in an environmentally beneficial manner is the focus of Project WindFall, utilizing proven technology based on decades of research, including demonstrations done by government laboratories.
New Orleans scrambles to complete preparations for the impending hurricane season while whole areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida remain in ruins from previous years. Hurricanes have killed thousands of people in recent years and hundreds of thousands still remain homeless and separated from their families.
Hundreds of billions of taxpayers dollars have gone to clean up and reconstruction of property and families. Gas prices have soared, affecting each and every one of us. Citizens spend thousands out of their own pockets to prepare for the upcoming storm season anticipating more of the same.
"With continuing property development and population growth along the coastlines of the U.S. and other countries, hurricanes present a significant and growing threat to lives and property. Therefore, any viable method to reduce hurricane activity, in terms of intensity and/or frequency, will save lives and mitigate property losses.", says Dr. Lee Branscome MIT PhD., Certified Consulting Meteorologist and President of Climatological Consulting Corporation.
FEMA and other government agencies only warn of impending strikes and urge that we prepare for the worst. They say that the only thing to do is be prepared or leave all you possess behind to save your life.
They are wrong! Hurricanes can be stopped. The idea that all we can do is hide our head in the sand and pray for the best goes against the very nature of this country.
Using a blend of technology and nature, Project WindFall will gently cool the sea surface temperatures of the Gulf or Mexico and Caribbean Seas. As the sea temperatures return below 80 degrees Fahrenheit, they can no longer form or fuel hurricanes.
