National Fire Sprinkler Association Appoints Gaut as Regional Manager-Central Region

The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), the longest-tenured fire sprinkler advocacy organization in the U.S., has announced the appointment of Christopher Gaut as Regional Manager of the Central Region, which includes the states of Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. In this role, he will provide educational opportunities for the fire sprinkler industry, NFSA member support, recruitment of new members, and spokesperson duties for fire sprinkler-related issues.

Patterson, NY (PRWEB) February 17, 2008 -- The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), the longest-tenured fire sprinkler advocacy organization in the U.S., has announced the appointment of Christopher Gaut as Regional Manager of the Central Region, which includes the states of Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. In this role, he will provide educational opportunities for the fire sprinkler industry, NFSA member support, recruitment of new members, and spokesperson duties for fire sprinkler-related issues.

Gaut has spent the past 11 years in the fire industry. He began his fire service career as a fire inspector and fire investigator, later moving to positions of Assistant Fire Marshal and Fire Marshal, in the Eureka Fire Protection District in Eureka, Mo., in suburban St. Louis. Chris is an Emergency Medical Technician, and holds certifications in fire investigations, fire inspections and firefighting.

Gaut has also obtained Fire Service Instructor Certifications through the University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri Division of Fire Safety, and the National Fire Academy. Chris holds professional memberships with the National Fire Protection Association, International Code Council, the Fire Fighters Association of Missouri, and the Fire Marshals Association of Missouri.
