Building a Bridge with Education to Meet the Demands of Geothermal System Installs

Washington, D.C., Meet HeatSpring. Duncan Miller and business partner Brian Hayden saw a thirst for education among geothermal heat pump system designers and installers and they're in the business of quenching it with their company, HeatSpring, a niche education and training company. While primarily answering the needs of the Northeast geothermal market for the last year and a half, they've got plans to be in Washington, D.C. this September.

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) July 23, 2008 -- Duncan Miller and business partner Brian Hayden saw a thirst for education among geothermal heat pump system designers and installers and they're in the business of quenching it with their company, HeatSpring, a niche education and training company.

Based in what's considered a mecca for those seeking top notch education from the likes of academic giants such as MIT and Harvard, the HeatSpring duo set off to find the most sought after experts in the field of ground source heating and cooling and have engaged them to develop content for their customers. To date, they've gained the allegiance of published experts in their respective fields to teach day long training seminars across much of the east coast, with a plan to go nationwide. After just wrapping up a successful series in Illinois, HeatSpring will be going to our nation's capital in September, Washington, D.C., to execute the same set of seminars.

In keeping with their cutting edge content development, HeatSpring is also beginning to provide the seminars in an online format. "Online training is appealing to many who need the information and can't wait because of work that is in the pipe line," Miller notes. "As summer ends, home owners and businesses start anticipating large heating bills and want a clean energy solution. This push is fueling a lot of business for our customers," Miller continues.

"There will always be the need for information-now," co-founder Hayden says, "but the importance of doing things right is imperative for the sake of the environment and the end user." One instructor comments on the benefits of what HeatSpring is doing for the geothermal heat pump industry: "It can be like learning a new language when architects, engineers and drillers get together to work on a geothermal project and the classroom is far less painful than field 'scar tissue,'" says HeatSpring instructor John Manning, founder and President of Earth Sensitive Solutions. "You can't beat hearing from someone who's been in the trenches on a job," Hayden confirms "which is why customers benefit immensely when coming to hear from people like John [Manning."

"Home and business owners that install geothermal heat pump systems see real economic benefits in these systems" Duncan Miller, Co-Founder of HeatSpring says. "But in order to reap these benefits, you need building professionals who know how to install and design them properly. That's where we come in."
