Economic Crisis Heightens Need for Household Preparedness: Preparedness Buyers Club Sells Food that Stores for Decades; Throws in High-Value Store Vouchers for Gear

September 2008 has seen the intersection of National Preparedness Month, several devastating Western Hemisphere storms, and the worst global economic crisis since the Great Depression. The Safecastle Royal Buyers Club is distributing free high-value store vouchers to members who buy one of their most popular freeze-dried food kits.

Minneapolis (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 24, 2008 -- Safecastle Royal Buyers Club members are exceptional in that they are normal people from all walks of life actively working to prepare their households and businesses for hard times. Safecastle Owner Victor Rantala said, “Unfortunately, hard times often descend with little or no warning. To weather tough times requires foresight and planning. That’s what we’re all about.”

Early this month, which is National Preparedness Month, Hurricanes Gustav, Hanna, and Ike hammered countless American families and businesses. Now storms of a completely different nature, in the form of whirling economic turbulence, are threatening to inundate much of the globe.

“Most folks know very well by now that in the event of any major disaster,” said Rantala, “when you need it the most, no one will be there to help. Survivors, and indeed those who will thrive, are those who are prepared to help themselves. More and more people today want to make sure their businesses and households are there.

“Our customer base and membership have continued to grow steadily over the last several years, with very good reason. We’re always here to help and to provide reliably great prices on the best products out there. Also key, this market is definitely not going away. Recognition of the need for crisis pre-positioning is becoming almost commonplace, thanks in large measure to the government’s efforts to improve the public’s emergency readiness.”

Now Helping to Stretch the Budget
The Safecastle Royal Buyers Club just announced a new complimentary merchandise voucher plan for member purchases of the group’s most popular emergency storage food (that stores for 25-30 years). Buyers of eight cases of freeze-dried Mountain House #10 cans now receive free vouchers worth $120.00 for subsequent club purchases (with certain exclusions). Buyers of 35 cases receive vouchers worth $500.

Membership in the buyers club requires a small one-time fee, entitling members to free shipping on everything purchased within the continental U.S., and discount pricing on most everything listed in the store.
