Nude Nite Art Event Unveils New Website and Seeks Artists for Multi-Media Show Call to Artists "Not Your Mothers Art Show"

Nude Nite, the largest nude art show in the U.S. seeks art from all media for its upcoming annual show. Submission form now available on newly designed website www.nudeniteorlando.com

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) September 30, 2008 -- Orlando's most anticipated art event returns with another warehouse sized venue to host hundreds of cutting edge, sexy works from national and international artists. Nude Nite breaks from the traditional stuffy art show format by teaming a sexy art theme with multi-media entertainment. Nude Nite is a 3-nite, multi-media traveling art event celebrating the beauty of the nude to include performance, film/video installations, experimental, metal, glassworks, sculpture, photography and mixed media in addition to fine art.

Nude Nite is a juried art show. Submission cost is $40 for up to 2 works. All submissions receive a free ticket to the show. Submission form is available online at the new launch of www.nudeniteorlando.com. Deadline is January 15, 2009 for Orlando and February 4, 2009 for the Tampa event. Show dates are: Orlando show is February 12-14, 2009; Tampa show is March 5-7, 2009. Tickets for the event will be available at the door or online 1 month prior to event date. Location of event to be determined.

Thousands attend each year to experience the art party that Nude Nite has become. Orlando Sentinel calls Nude Nite "the biggest event of the year" and a "must-see art happening." With world class body painters, installation artists, and strolling street performers, to name just a few, no matter where you happen to be standing at Nude Nite, there are half a dozen things going on around you. The Nude Nite experience has included breakthrough installations such as Condom Couture, a gown made from 15,000 condoms, and Living Sculptures, a living recreation of Michelangelo's David by French artist Serge Dulac. Nude Nite showcases social installations such as NYC artist Mary Ellen Sherl's sobering breast cancer survivor exhibit Mamorial, with shocking contrasts such as a sexy model dressed in a Catholic nun's habit passing out naughty chocolates to kneeling sinners and saints. Nude Nite cuts the apron strings of mother's art show forever.
