CompTIA Educational Foundation Receives Generous Donation from ExamForce
Test preparation software will help U.S. military veterans train for second careers
Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Vocus/PRWEB ) October 16, 2008 -- The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Educational Foundation announced today that a donation from ExamForce, a leading provider of exam preparation material and video training, will be used to prepare United States veterans for post-military careers in information technology (IT).
ExamForce, headquartered in Largo, Fla., donated its IT exam preparation software, valued at $23,400, to the Foundation's Creating Futures program, which provides career opportunities to groups who have historically been under-represented in the IT workforce, including veterans transitioning out of the military.
"This is a great program and a noble initiative," said John Mongeon, corporate sales manager, ExamForce. "Not many companies are doing something like this for our vets, providing them with new career choices and opportunities. We are happy to be a part of it."
