On February 7th at The Metropolitan Room in Manhattan, seasoned cabaret and theater performer, Skie Ocasio, will debut "At Last," an evening of love songs to benefit Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS.

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 29, 2009 -- On February 7th at The Metropolitan Room in Manhattan, seasoned cabaret and theater performer, Skie Ocasio, will debut "At Last," an evening of love songs which are the result of a culmination of several years of working with exceptionally talented musicians and mentors. The show contains a few Broadway selections, some 80's love songs and newer works by composers he has met in his travels. Special guest, Christine Toy Johnson will share this evening, as well as musical director, Steven Ray Watkins.

Cover charge for the performance is $20 with a 2 drink minimum; the performance begins at 9:45pm. About Skie Ocasio: Skie studied the art of cabaret with veteran performers and musicians at Perry Mansfield and Summer in the City. He has had the honor of sharing the stage with Diana Ross, Nona Hendryx, Julia Murney, Deborah Cox and the legendary Robert Goulet. Skie has toured the United States and Canada with Bombay Dreams where he understudied and performed numerous times the lead role of Akaash. Other national tours include Jekyll & Hyde, Sourth Pacific, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Chicago, Los Angeles and Mexico City. Regionally he has worked at the Goodspeed Opera House in Redhead, North Shore Music Theatre in Miss Saigon as Thuy, and at Paper Mill Playhouse where he understudied and went on for Paolo Montalban as Prince Charming in Cinderella.
