Full Sail University Announces Full Sail Graduate 2009 GRAMMY Award Results
Full Sail University (www.fullsail.edu) is proud to announce that 53 graduates worked on 25 GRAMMY-winning projects across all categories, which were named this evening at the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards.
Winter Park, FL (Vocus/PRWEB ) February 9, 2009 –- Full Sail University (www.fullsail.edu) is proud to announce that 53 graduates worked on 25 GRAMMY-winning projects across all categories, which were named this evening at the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards.
In total, 106 Full Sail Recording Arts graduates were involved in the production of 78 individual artist’s projects that were nominated in 61 separate categories. Of these 106 graduates, seven were also personally recognized. This is the highest number of graduates in the history of Full Sail in one year to achieve this honor of personal nominations.
Full Sail graduates were directly nominated in the categories of Best Dance Recording, Record of the Year and Album of the Year. From 1996 through 2008, 19 Full Sail graduates have won a total of 28 of their own GRAMMY Awards. In addition, Full Sail graduates have recorded, mixed, or assisted on 15 GRAMMY-winning Album of the Year releases over the past 17 years (since 1991).
