Colorado Youth Pipe Band Brings a Rich Heritage to St. Patrick's Day

Pipers, drummers and highland dancers available for performances

Denver, Colo. (PRWEB) February 12, 2009 -- The Colorado Youth Pipe Band (CYPB), the state's only youth-oriented pipe band, is booking performances for upcoming St. Patrick's Day festivities. The group features Scottish pipers, drummers and highland dancers performing drum salutes, sword dances and bagpipe solos.

The Celtic tradition embraces a culture where religion, legend and history are passed from generation to generation through stories and songs. CYPB brings that history to life through their musical flair.

"Our performers love to entertain during this festive time of year," said Marlene Williamson, a board member of CYPB. "We are looking forward to booking many events and performing in front of various audiences to show-off the talents of this young group."

The award-winning CYPB group includes more than 45 pipers, drummers and dancers who perform at events across the United States. CYPB have performed at nearly 1,000 events in California, New Mexico, Texas and North Carolina. CYPB performers entertain during holidays and various celebrations throughout the year.

CYPB's high-caliber entertainment includes solo, duet or full pipe-band performances. Fees range between $150 to $1,500, depending on the type of entertainment. For more information about CYPB's shows, or to book a performance visit www.cypb.org or contact the business manager at info (at) cypb (dot) org.
