Houston Green Screen Takes the Entire Ronald McDonald House on Vacation

Houston Green Screen Volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House Providing Fantasy Vacation Photos. The children and their families choose their favorite destinations, travel instantly, and have the pictures to prove it.

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) February 15, 2009 -- The families of the Ronald McDonald House traveled around the world in sixty seconds and they have the pictures to prove it. Houston Green Screen volunteers provided the children and their families with photographs of themselves superimposed into places like the Eiffel Tower and Niagara Falls. The photographs from the event can be viewed at www.houstongreenscreen.com.

Houston Green Screen spent the evening with the families smiling in front of a green screen backdrop. The children were given the opportunity to choose destinations where they would most like to visit. Brandon Barchus, the director of Houston Green Screen, said, "It came to me in a dream one night. The families at the Ronald McDonald House don't get the chance to get out that often, so why not bring their favorite vacation spots to them." All of the green screen photos from the event were given to the children and their families as presents. The event was also hosted by Southwest Airlines who provided dinner and drinks.

Barchus said, "For some reason, a lot of the kids really wanted to go to the North Pole. The children had chili for dinner so maybe they thought they were warm enough." If that was the destination of choice, Houston Green Screen service volunteers prompted the children to pretend like it was really cold outside. Other top spots chosen were the beaches of Hawaii and Mount St. Helens as it was erupting. He also mentioned that there was even someone who chose the San Jacinto monument, and that made him smile.
