Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 25, 2009 -- Pearson, a leading provider of educational assessment products, services and solutions, is currently seeking college graduates to score standardized assessments for the state of Maryland on a temporary basis in two Houston facilities.

Locations in the northwest and southwest part of Houston are currently accepting applications. Key elements of the scoring job include evaluating student responses to subject-related open-ended questions according to a customer-supplied scoring guide and successfully internalizing company-provided training and the scoring guide.

The employment opportunity is open to applicants who have at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and are eligible to work in the United States. Candidates will be required to pass a qualifying test before scoring and must be able to score in an unbiased manner by applying a scoring guide.
