Texas Education Agency (TEA) Still Offering Funding to Schools for Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is still accepting Automated External Defibrillator (AED) reimbursement requests from school districts, charter schools, and private schools. The TEA has extended the reimbursement date until April 15, 2009. This round of funding provides an additional opportunity for schools to meet the standards of state mandate, Senate Bill 7, which requires all campuses to have an AED available.
