Proteus Networks Formed by Two Premier Juniper Training and Professional Services Organizations

California-based Strategic Networks Training and Virginia-based iPath Services, premier training and professional services organizations for Juniper, have joined forces to form Proteus Networks, a services-only company. Proteus Networks prides itself on providing excellence in customer service that consistently exceeds expectations. The company provides training, professional services, and technical support/managed services for its customers, including Juniper Networks, direct Proteus customers, and Juniper J-Partners who wish to offer services to their customers.

Hampstead, MD (PRWEB) March 17, 2009 -- California-based Strategic Networks Training and Virginia-based iPath Services, premier training and professional services organizations for Juniper, have joined forces to form Proteus Networks, a services-only company. Proteus Networks prides itself on providing excellence in customer service that consistently exceeds expectations. The company provides training, professional services, and technical support/managed services for its customers, including Juniper Networks, direct Proteus customers, and Juniper J-Partners who wish to offer services to their customers.

The Proteus executive team consists of Joseph M. Soricelli, formerly of iPath, Chief Executive Officer; Douglas Marschke, formerly of Strategic Networks Training, Chief Technology Officer; and Christopher M. Heffner, Chief Information Officer.

Soricelli, a 16-year industry veteran, has extensive expertise in network infrastructure technologies and previously held the position of Director of Engineering for iPath Services. He has trained hundreds of network engineers in various network technologies and has created several training classes still in use by Juniper Networks today. He also was instrumental in the creation and maintenance of the Juniper Networks technical certification program. Soricelli is a Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE #14), and is also a Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer (CCIE #4803), and is a certified instructor for both Juniper Networks and Cisco Systems courseware.

Marschke is JNCIE-ER #3, JNCIE-M #41 and JNCIS-FW/JNCIS-EX certified. He is a writer of various Juniper certification exams and co-writer of the JNCIE Enterprise Exam. He is the author of the JUNOS Enterprise Routing book and JUNOS Enterprise Switching, which will be available this year. Marschke has conducted seminars and training classes around the world, sharing his knowledge of topics ranging from troubleshooting to design and certification preparation.

Heffner is CCIE #8211 and is a certified instructor for both Juniper Networks and Cisco Systems courses. He has more than 20 years of experience in networking and LAN technologies and has taught classes in various locations around the globe.
