4D Technologies Announces CADLearning Annual Subscription Program

Access multiple releases of a product course under one subscription fee

Bedford, NH (PRWEB) April 6, 2009 -- 4D Technologies launched a new tutorial site featuring a subscription learning model. CADLearning's self-paced tutorials for the full-range of Autodesk® software can now be licensed on an annual basis. A single subscription provides 24/7 access to CADLearning for any individual product--such as AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, or Inventor--for 12 months. During that time, users can access courses on the current product release as well as courses covering previous releases. Plus, access any new courses added for that product, during the subscription period.

"Now subscribers to our online tutorials can feel comfortable enrolling at any time of the year and know that the site will be current and updated with any new products during their enrollment," said Dan Dolan, president of 4D Technologies. "By having the corresponding courses available within a short time of Autodesk's First Customer Shipment (FCS), the user has the confidence that they can learn features and functions of the new version of the software without paying for another course."

CAD Training at the Right Price is Crucial

Many customers have already benefited from their use of 4D's CADLearning.com. Weyerhaeuser, one of the world's largest forest products companies, is using CADLearning to train and support its more than 1,100 users in North and South America on company-standard CAD practices and the latest software technology. The company's use of CADLearning tutorials is a critical piece of an enormous effort to establish baseline knowledge and to give users the training and support they need to stay competitive.

"Having an invaluable CAD resource at the right price is of utmost importance," said Kathy Brunke, CAD systems manager, Weyerhaeuser Engineering Services. "We need to deliver training to a large number of people across many sites, some of which are very remote. Our designers appreciate the ability to access training modules when they have time and to refer back to the material when they need to."

CADLearning Tutorial Availability

4D's CADLearning courses provide online, self-paced tutorials covering many Autodesk software products, including AutoCAD®, AutoCAD LT, Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP, Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D, Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, and 3DS Max. Courses for each individual product are now available for an annual subscription fee of $249 ($129 for AutoCAD LT; $219 for 3DS Max).
