Staybridge Suites Hotel Opens in Webster, TX

A new 112 room upscale extended stay Staybridge Suites hotel with several innovative features just opened up in the Clear Lake suburban area of Houston, TX. Interestingly, despite a slumping economy which neither Texas nor the hotel industry has been able to elude, the new Staybridge is one of several new hotels coming to the area most frequently known for it's close proximity to NASA's Johnson Space Center.

Among the more innovative features of the upscale extended stay hotel is a home theater room with large plasma TV and leather recliners, 1100 square foot fitness center with a full strength training circuit featuring Life Fitness equipment, 32" LCD televisions with 24 HD channels in all guest suites and an outdoor putting green.    

Despite an economic slowdown which has not eluded Texas or the hotel industry, Clear Lake, which is located halfway between downtown Houston and Galveston is currently seeing a boom in new hotel construction. In addition to the recently opened $11.5 million Staybridge Suites, a Springhill Suites, Holiday Inn, Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn Express are also under construction in the area most famous for its' close proximity to NASA's Johnson Space Center and Galveston Bay's Kemah Boardwalk.
