Immediate Release: 36Squares and Collaborators Launch SomethingTakesPlace.com

Free Online Forum, SomethingTakesPlace.com available to all Artists May 15.

Holland, MI (PRWEB) May 17, 2009 -- Artists need not look any further for an outlet to showcase their work and connect with the expanding artistic community. "Something Takes Place" announces the launch of its website on May 15, 2009.

Somethingtakesplace.com is a free online forum that offers artists the opportunity to create profiles and share multimedia portfolios of many file types for their own personal or commercial purposes. It is open to artists of all types: photographers, graphic designers, poets, sculptors, animators, break dancers, oil painters, folk singers, band members - any artistic expression that can be recorded digitally. It also offers the registered community members the ability to discuss and comment on the posted work. Something takes place when creative minds come together and share their passions.

The mission of "Something Takes Place" is to provide a forum and environment that encourages creative expression in all forms, and provides artists and performers a free venue to promote their artwork for personal or commercial purposes, as they see fit.

Somethingtakesplace.com needs the talents of artists with graphic, video, audio, and written work. If you have any additional questions, please send an email to contact(at)somethingtakesplace.com.

Please spread the word about this wonderful new resource for artists and look forward to the launch date on May 15.
