Endsleigh Shares the Three Essential Items for University 2009 Students
Students generally have a great selection of gadgets and gizmos, some of them necessary, some of them luxury, either way, you will need to take out a student insurance policy in case some of them disappear. Endsleigh shares the three essential items for university students.
London, UK (PRWeb UK/PRWEB ) October 29, 2009 -- So what are the three most important student accessories you might need to get student insurance for?
Laptop
Having a personal laptop will not only give a student something to store music (rip all those cd's to mp3 so that you don't have to risk losing the originals) on, but it can also substitute for a television. A laptop gives students a little bit of freedom and choice by allowing them to watch dvd's, play games and of course, completing course work, it is a great versatile piece of equipment to have as it provides a host of options for its user.
iPod
As students spend a lot of time on the move, the iPod has been promoted from luxury to a necessity. So have a look around at the variety of shapes and sizes and decide which would be best suited for you. If you have a lot of music it would obviously be to your advantage to invest in an iPod with a bigger hard drive, but if you do choose a smaller iPod, updating music on it happens more regularly. The last option is mainly recommended for super music enthusiasts. Regardless of which iPod you decide to buy you need to get in insured, so talk to your student contents insurance provider to find out what your monthly premium will be.
A good set of headphones
This might seem a little unnecessary upon first glance, but having a good set of headphones will most definitely enrich any musical experience. Imagine it's late and you want to spend the entire night studying or completing an assignment but your room mate needs to get some sleep, a good comfortable set of headphones will allow you to keep the music on whilst studying without annoying any room mates. It will also let you enjoy dvd's and films at any time of night and day without placing any strain on your (generally not that great) computer speakers.
There are three great, if somewhat connected, gadgets to ensure you are up to scratch in the self-entertaining department. However, it is vital that you invest a little bit of money in an student insurance policy to provide yourself with some cover should any of your prized possessions go missing.
