Author Bob Mitchley, a Carpenter by Day, Writer by Passion
"Breaking Through." the debut poetry book by Bob Mitchley covers an array of timely subjects.
"Yeah, it's personal stuff, but it's something everybody goes through, you know, a life storm."
says the author.
"I laid it all on the line, and found there is hope".
Cogan Station, PA (PRWEB) November 1, 2009 -- Author Bob Mitchley debuts his first book, "Breaking Through," a truly great poetry compilation of revitalized verse. This book has metaphor lines of verse you just can't get out of your head, like your favorite song. "That's why I published this book," says the author. "You can find peace in the midst of your life storm, let God break through to you." says Mitchley.
Hold on," Breaking Through" might have some controversial themes, but it gets better.
"I am an illogical schemer
Bursting out of my inner most pod,
A hurried part time dreamer
Who is touched and inspired
By the finger of God."
"Breaking Through is a roller coaster ride of emotions and laments. Forty one poems unite into one story. When a life storm hits, usually it's when we are most vulnerable, when our guard is down, then we are prime for God to intervene as reiterated throughout these poetry themes. Forty one poems, one climactic ending - enjoy!" says Mitchley.
Bob Mitchley won an award for single best poem, "Enduring Task..." has been published and reviewed by the Williamsport Sun Gazette newspaper in his hometown.
Mitchley says his passion for writing continues to grow. He is currently working on his second book entitled, "Having it Out." The book will contain short stories and poetry.
Along with his poetry expect to see other items available such as posters and t-shirts to further market his inspirational messages.
