NYU Invites AME CEO to Teach New Publishing Course
Self-Publishing Course now being offered through New York University
New York, New York (PRWEB) November 4, 2009 -- As self-publishing continues to build steam, many who before hadn't considered it are now taking notice. New York University, which offers an extensive publishing track, has just added a six-week Self-Publishing course as part of their model and has invited Author Marketing Experts, Inc. CEO Penny C. Sansevieri to teach this class.
Ms. Sansevieri brings extensive teaching and industry experience to this program. She has taught at conferences including BlogHer, Romance Writers of New Jersey, and IBPA's Publishing University. "I'm delighted to teach self-publishing for NYU and am thrilled that they've asked me to bring this model to their students for the first time. Today's publishing landscape is changing by the minute. Print-on-Demand or POD is taking hold in a big way. With self-publishing and computer technology, big publishers' stranglehold on the market is gone. Everyone can publish their story."
The six-week course, offered one night a week, will begin on March 3, 2010 and go through April 14, 2010. Ms. Sansevieri says will operate out of AME's New York offices and continue to manage and run AME during her tenure with NYU. She adds, "I am really looking forward to spending time with the students for this class and helping them realize their publishing dreams."
