Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) November 2, 2009 -- Faculty from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, one of the world's top business schools (www.ChicagoBooth.edu), will make predictions for business and economic conditions in 2010 at the school's annual business forecast events in five cities during December 2009.
The events, held yearly since 1954, are open to the public and will be presented this year in Chicago on December 2, in New York on December 3, in London on December 4, in Singapore on December 14 and in San Francisco on December 16.

Speakers at the opening event in Chicago are Randall Kroszner, the Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics at Chicago Booth and former governor of the Federal Reserve Board, Erik Hurst, the V. Duane Rath Professor of Economics, and Marvin Zonis, a professor emeritus of business administration. The luncheon event will take place December 2, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive, beginning with a reception at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at 12:00 p.m.
The New York business forecast event on December 3, 2009 will be at the Waldorf-Astoria, 301 Park Avenue, with a reception at 11:30 a.m. and lunch at 12:00 p.m. Speakers are Kroszner and Hurst, and Michael Mussa, senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and former chief economist for the International Monetary Fund.
Speakers in other cities vary by location and include Steven Davis, the William H. Abbott Professor of International Business and Economics and John Huizinga, the Walter David "Bud" Fackler
Distinguished Service Professor of Economics. Other speakers include Lorenzo Bini-Smaghi, a member of the executive board of the European Central Bank and Bernard Yeung, dean of the business school at National University of Singapore.
