San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy Names Lowen Cattolico as Area Director for San Mateo County

Physical Therapist and Clinic Director Lowen Cattolico Brings Her Passion for Helping Patients and Her Expertise in Growing Clinics to Area Director Role. Cattolico will Oversee Operations at the Upper Market/Castro Clinic and San Mateo Clinic While Helping Lead San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy Through Future Growth on the Peninsula.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 1, 2009 -- San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy, a provider of orthopedic physical therapy in the Bay Area, has named Lowen Cattolico to the newly created position as Area Director. In this newly created position, Cattolico will report directly to San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy Founder and CEO Sturdy McKee.

"Lowen has outstanding credentials and is a great fit for this important new position. As a small company, we recognize that we need someone like Lowen to help grow our business in San Mateo. Her leadership experience with the company as well as her growing expertise in clinic operations will serve us well," explained McKee.

"I am thrilled with this new opportunity with the San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy team. I am committed to our mission of advancing people's physical well being," said Cattolico. "San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy's model works. I look forward to leading the company's growth in San Mateo."

Cattolico has been with the company for 6 years and advances from the Clinic Director position at the Upper Market/Castro clinic in San Francisco where she took that clinic from a single person operation to a physical therapy clinic with 3+ physical therapists and an office coordinator. While being a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and loving to work with patients, Cattolico enjoys the challenges and rewards that come with growing a practice and serving more people. She looks forward to expanding the company's offerings on the Peninsula.

Cattolico holds a Bachelor's Degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University, a Certificate in Public Health from Harvard Extension and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the Graduate Program in Physical Therapy at the University of California San Francisco/San Francisco State University. Lowen grew up in San Jose and is the daughter of Los Gatos High School Football Coach Butch Cattolico.
