The canvas tarp company not only has added more grades to their product line but they have also doubled their canvas tarp inventory. The canvas tarp manufacturer and distributor attributes the expansion due to lowering prices and upgrade in material. Product manager Scott Rosing said, "The secret to our success is quite simple. Offer the customer better canvas tarps at a cheaper price and you will sell more." The canvas tarp giant has been leading the tarp industry since nineteen fifty six. Since then the canvas industry has been challenged by the plastic tarp industry but many in the farming and trucking industry still find a need for the heavy duty cotton material.
The canvas tarps have been in such high demand due to the company's wide range of canvas tarp material that a new facility will furnish just the canvas tarp supply in the Los Angeles area. Many more styles, grades and colors, such as blue, single and double filled for waterproof are being made. The expansion for the canvas tarps division will be completed by the end of 2010.
