According to Ryan Fredericks, who named his business with a play on his last name, people were telling him they were tired of lugging their greasy bikes into their cars and transporting them to a bike shop. Others said they had several bikes in their garage that needed little repairs and they just did not have time to bring them in. Some people who use their bikes as primary transportation didn’t have a way to get their bikes to the repair shop. Ryan decided to offer a solution to those busy people by offering a bicycle repair service that went right to people’s home or work.
“I outfitted a truck with all the necessary repair tools and supplies and opened my ‘mobile’ shop,” said Ryan Fredericks. “Freddy’s Bike Service includes tune ups, overhauls, gear and brake adjustments, wheel truing and more.
