Plugfest 2009 a Success for PAI Interface Connectivity to Proteus Facility Management Software

On October 13-14, Eagle Technology, Inc. participated in BACnet PlugFest 2009 in Atlanta, Ga. Eagle Technology successfully tested its ProTeus Alarm Interface (PAI) with current and planned Building Automation Systems from 12 vendors including: Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, Carrier, Tridium and Siemens.

Mequon WI (PRWEB) November 4, 2009 -- Eagle Technology successfully tested its ProTeus Alarm Interface (PAI) with current and planned Building Automation Systems from 12 vendors including: Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, Carrier, Tridium and Siemens.

PAI is designed to receive notification of Alarms, Alerts, and Events over BACnet, and will automatically generate a work order for Demand Maintenance or Preventive Maintenance based on the sensor point to ProTeus™, Eagle’s Enterprise Asset Management(EAM), Maintenance Management (MM) software solution. The work order is e-mailed to facility maintenance personnel or their mobile device to immediately take care of the problem, or perform timely PM tasks. This results in extended equipment life, lower energy costs, as well as guest comfort and satisfaction.

Eagle’s PAI and ProTeus are installed in over 500 buildings around the world including Burj Tower – Dubai, Jamaica Airport, Woodbine Entertainment Group- Toronto, Dallas Convention Center, ITC Gardinia Hotel – Bangalore, and many more. These customers have recognized the power of integrating building automation controls with a flexible, easy to use maintenance management system, and have seen cost savings as a result.
By enhancing the value of existing building management systems, PAI and ProTeus allow facility operations to measure and manage goals for energy conservation, equipment longevity, and sustainability.
