All Smiles Dental Will Donate Candy, Toothbrushes and Toothpaste to our Troops and Give Kids $1 Per Pound of Candy Donated
Too much candy at Halloween can lead to uncomfortable dental problems. Local Algonquin dental practice, All Smiles Dental, is doing something about it… While contributing tooth brushes, toothpaste, floss and donated Halloween candy brought in to their office by local children to local troops overseas!
The office will be giving each child $1 for every pound of Halloween candy that children bring in and donating the candy along with tooth brushes, toothpaste and floss to local troops overseas.
Algonquin, IL (PRWEB) November 5, 2009 -- All Smiles Dental in collaboration with NASA Education Corporation (non-profit organization which gives hope and promise to our military veterans) and the Army National Guard has named the event “Treats for our Troops.” It begins on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at 2:00pm. Come to turn in your candy and stay for the kid’s games, raffles, refreshments, displayed HMMWVS (Humvees) and live performance by Jim & Justin Wojdyla of the Modern Day Romeos! The event will conclude around 4:00pm. Dr. Tim encourages kids to save their favorite treats and bring in the excess candy to fill their piggy banks.
All Smiles Dental, located in the Briarwood Office Center across Randall from the Algonquin Commons, has been caring for local Algonquin families in this location since 2006, but has been serving the Algonquin community for the past 14 years In addition to serving the community for the past 20 years and making Algonquin his home, Dr. Tim has been giving back to the Algonquin community for years. Treats for our Troops is Dr. Tim’s newest way to support the local community. Dr. Tim was head of the Algonquin Project Playground to build Angeltowne Park, Annually sponsors the Founder’s Day kid’s games, performs the “Wizard of Teeth Play” for over 3,000 students every February during Children’s Dental Health Month and sponsored the kid’s games at Rylie Palooza this past summer.
