Reading Friends - Flower Mound Preschool is Selected to Host Nature Training Workshops
Flower Mound preschool is connecting area children with nature and academics.
Flower Mound, TX (PRWEB) November 4, 2009 -- Denton County, Texas -- Reading Friends Preschool has received confirmation from Dimensions Learning to host a DFW area wide training workshop for “Learning with Nature” and “Using Your Outdoor Classroom”. The Arbor Day Nature Explore team will facilitate the program. The two workshops will be held at Reading Friends Preschool in Lewisville on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
The comprehensive, research-based approach of the Nature Explore program helps bring nature into children's daily learning in a way that is sustainable, significant, positive, and joyful. Engaging, hands-on workshops inspire new ways to use the outdoors as an integral part of children's learning. The workshops are open to area educators, parents, physical and occupational therapists and anyone interested in connecting children with nature!
