It is imperative that the media responsibly report the shooting and provide adequate resources and information to the public. As members of the military, veterans and family members follow the events of today’s tragedy, they will need resources for support.

News ImageMedia outlets need to provide contact information for hotlines and emergency services. This could be critical in preventing another tragedy. This population often suffers from Post Traumatic Stress, depression, substance abuse or suicidal tendencies which could be triggered from today’s shooting.
