Los Angeles School of Gymnastics Tumbles Towards National Gymnastics Day

The Los Angeles School of Gymnastics

Culver City, CA (PRWEB) August 8, 2008 -- The Los Angeles School of Gymnastics, a USA National & Olympic Team Training Center, in celebration of the Olympic Games, is preparing a community gymnastic event that will involve thousands of young and aspiring gymnasts in the Los Angeles community that train daily in pursuit to be the next Shawn Johnson or Nastia Luikin.

Young and old will be prepared to do a cartwheel, flips, and bounce on the trampoline to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network and the LA School of Gymnastics Future Olympians Scholarship Fund.

Members of the United States National Team will be on board at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics daily during the course of the Olympic Games, training parallel to the international efforts of the USA Olympic Team that will include award winning performances, while cheering on LA School of Gymnastics Head Team Coach Yefim Furman, who is serving as NBC consultant for the USA Men's Gymnastics teams.

Activities, refreshments, and performances are free to the public. Free Direct TV programming available daily for spectators and the community to view the Olympic Games in addition to National and Olympic coaches on hand to educate the community about the benefits of gymnastics. Refreshments, performances, various gymnastics events and free classes will be available to the community from 9:00-3:00pm daily through August 29, 2008.

A community gymnastic event that will involve thousands.
