42nd Annual Hampton Jazz Festival Line-up Announced

Hampton, Virginia (Vocus/PRWEB ) March 27, 2009 -- On June 26-28, 2009 the 42nd annual Hampton Jazz Festival will return to the Hampton Coliseum for yet another soulful weekend of unforgettable entertainment. Presented by Chrysler-Jeep Hampton Roads Dealers, this highly anticipated event features the top jazz, pop, R&B, and blues performers in the nation. This year's line-up includes:
The 42nd annual Hampton Jazz Festival takes place June 26-28, 2009 at the Hampton Coliseum.
Friday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m.: Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds; George Benson; Ledisi; Jazz Attack featuring Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler, and Richard Elliot
Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m.: The O'Jays; Michael McDonald; Fantasia; The Forte Jazz Band featuring Brian Pinner
Sunday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m.: Patti Labelle; Robin Thicke; Chuck Brown, Keiko Matsui
Ticket prices are $52.50 for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All are subject to applicable service charge and handling fees. Tickets for all three performances will go on sale at the Hampton Coliseum this Saturday, March 28 at 10 a.m. Tickets are also available for purchase at all VA, MD, and DC Ticketmaster outlets and at www.Ticketmaster.com. To charge by phone, call 800/745-3000. All seats are reserved.
Group orders of 45 tickets or more receive special ticket prices of $47.50 (per performance) for Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances plus $3.00 facility fee and $5.00 handling fee on overall order. Group ticket sales are only available through the Hampton Coliseum Box Office (in person), or by fax or mail. In addition, an order form can be obtained online at www.hamptoncoliseum.org Orders will not be taken by phone.
