INPUT Collects Over 350 Toys for Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
INPUT members, government officials and industry executives donated hundreds of toys to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation at INPUT's annual Holiday Party.
Reston, VA (Vocus/PRWEB ) December 9, 2008 -- INPUT hosted its 8th Annual Holiday Party on Thursday, December 4 at the Hilton McLean in McLean, Virginia. The event was attended by over 1,200 INPUT members, government officials and other industry executives who donated toys ranging from dolls to bicycles for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
The event collected over 350 toys that will be distributed to children around the Northern Virginia area. INPUT is credited with being one of the top three donors in Virginia for the past few years. "We are proud to work with INPUT each year as they are one of the top three companies in Northern Virginia to collect toys for underprivileged children," said SSgt. Lawrence G. Sanchez, USMC.
"This was our 8th year hosting this event and I believe it was our biggest by far. It is quite an honor to host a party that attracts all the key leaders in the government contracting community," stated Tim Dowd, President and CEO at INPUT. "Furthermore, to have these industry and government leaders come together to support a worthy cause, such as Toys for Tots, makes the event that much more meaningful."
