Bill Loconzolo Joins Medfusion as Chief Technology Officer
Technology expert to enhance Medfusion's patient-to-provider communication solutions platform.

Loconzolo has helped to pioneer many of the technologies that improve the way business people communicate and how customers interact with their service providers.

Formerly Chief Technology Officer at Performix Technologies, Loconzolo led the team responsible for Performix 4, which was awarded TMC's 2006 Product of the Year Award. Prior to Perfomix, he was a Senior Architect at Nokia where he was responsible for the design and implementation of Nokia's Multimedia Messaging Service server-side software platform, used by many of the world's largest communications providers. He also served as Vice President of Engineering at TeleGea, a telecommunication carrier provider that offered a Subscriber Self Service portal software platform for consumer and business telecommunications services, process automation and back office integration.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. He has been a frequent speaker at industry events covering topics like EAI integrations and XML, Enterprise portal servers and performance management and has published several software architecture papers. Currently he holds a US patent on image processing and has US patents pending in the areas of Performance Reconciliation processes, VoIP services and data mart transformations.
