"When I started making my album I wanted to record music that people could feel, not just skim through," the 24-year-old MC explains. "My goal with the album is to be in stores world wide and to be recognized as a great rapper wherever I am known."
There are plans to shoot videos for two of his bangers including the charming R&B flavored ''Tonight's The Night'' and the club-savvy ''I Can Keep You Fly'' featuring AK Billionaire. ''For Tha Hood, From The Hood'' also features guest spots from Deco, Johnny P, Official and Mr. 815.
Johnson has been developing his craft since he was an Y.G. He started rapping at school and parties around his 'hood when he was 12-years-old. From there he met Steve Ferguson, began recording music at his home studio and branded his name all throughout Chicago. After receiving a distro tip from his mentor and co-collaborator AK Billionaire, Johnson linked up with 101 Distribution.
