U.S. CAD Releases Styles Template for Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® Software

U.S. CAD Styles Template for AutoCAD Civil 3D software meets most agencies' general requirements and is available in Civil 3D 2008 and 2009 formats

Costa Mesa, Calif. (PRWEB) February 4, 2009 - U.S. CAD, the largest Autodesk software reseller in the Western U.S. and a leading provider of computer-aided design (CAD) services and products, announced today it is releasing its U.S. CAD Styles Template for AutoCAD Civil 3D software to customers in California and beyond. U.S. CAD has been providing Civil 3D style configuration services for several years and has extensive experience developing styles to meet both public and private sector agency requirements. To leverage these strengths and compliment its recently launched Building Information Modeling (BIM) production services, the company is now offering its U.S. CAD Styles Template for AutoCAD Civil 3D software, which will save customers time and money to get up and running on Civil 3D software.

The U.S. CAD Styles Template for AutoCAD Civil 3D software includes more than 300 object and label styles. The appropriate feature and command settings, as well as the corresponding drawing settings, are preset. The template incorporates a consistent naming convention and is delivered with documentation that describes each style in detail. Also included is a one-day Styles Administrator Class for two individuals within a customer firm, which can be delivered in person or live over the Web. Most importantly, the template meets the general requirements of most agencies and will save customers time and money implementing Civil 3D. The U.S. CAD Styles Template for AutoCAD Civil 3D software, including associated training and documentation, retails for $2,500 USD. More information is available at www.uscadbim.com.

U.S. CAD launched its BIM production services for the civil engineering community in January, offering services in such areas as design documentation, construction and coordination, as well as BIM content development to product manufacturers. U.S. CAD serves as an extension of customers' existing staffs, helping them meet their deliverables and demonstrate advanced BIM capabilities, including the use of Civil 3D software. U.S. CAD offers BIM technology implementation services for Civil 3D to help firms gain better efficiencies and productivity.

"We are excited to make this new U.S. CAD Styles Template for AutoCAD Civil 3D software available to the Civil 3D community. We believe it will increase the rate of adoption of Civil 3D software because it takes care of a large portion of the biggest hurdle in implementing this technology, developing a company's styles," said Melanie Santer, U.S. CAD civil engineering technical manager. "This is another example of how U.S. CAD continues to strengthen our service offerings to ensure our customers get the most out of their Autodesk software investments and help them Achieve More. Using the U.S. CAD Civil 3D styles template can help organizations win business, compete more effectively, and increase efficiencies that help lead to continued success."

The proof, of course, is in the superior designs.
