Capella University Launches PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision
The new degree program, one of few available online, addresses
growing need for counseling faculty and supervisors

Counseling is one of the country’s fastest
growing professions, driving an accompanying need for doctoral degree
programs and faculty to educate counselors and specially
educated professionals to oversee counselors. In response, Capella

PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.

The new PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision leverages Capella’s
experience and faculty expertise in both mental health and higher

in counseling, psychology, and related fields, as well as more than a
dozen specializations specifically focused on the field of higher
education.
