PaperThin Experiences Record Growth
Grows Revenues, Expands Channel, and Maintains 95%+ Subscription Renewal
Rate
BOSTON (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) November 13, 2008 --
PaperThin, Inc., the leading provider of ColdFusion Web content
management solutions, today announced that its 2008 Q2 and Q3 revenues
shattered all company records, having grown an average of more than 50%
year over year. Furthermore, the company’s
average deal size increased by more than 30%. A privately held company,
PaperThin has been profitable since its inception in 1993. The company’s
growth rate has well exceeded the analyst reported industry average of
15% annual growth. PaperThin attributes this growth to the strength of
its Channel Partner relationships and its continued focus on customers,
growth in professional services projects, and the strength of its
product CommonSpot.
PaperThin continuously leverages its network of Channel Partners and has
added seven new partners to date in 2008, including: BlackBarn Media,
Digital Division, Imagistic, Najia Systems, roundpeg, Sanmita, and
Winning Strategies—each of which is already
engaged in PaperThin service projects. Long standing partners such as
Figleaf Software have continued to play a key role in driving new
business and in supporting Customers. Meanwhile, the company has also
increased its own professional service engagements.
The company added new customers in each of its four key verticals,
including: Sharp Healthcare and Meridian Health (Healthcare); the
Environmental Protection Agency and Washington County (Government);
American University and Penn State (Higher Education); WomanHeart and
NACCHO (Association/Non-Profit); as well as global brand name
organizations such as Hasbro, Franchise Services, and Abercrombie &
Kent. PaperThin helps these and other organizations achieve more from
their Web strategies and provide compelling Web experiences through the
use of its flexible, scalable, and easy to use Web content management
system CommonSpot.
“CommonSpot's flexibility is awesome. There
are so many ways to accomplish a single task. When I train users, I go
to a TV station for three days, train people who have never seen the
product before, and they launch their new website within two weeks. Just
one two hour session is all it takes to light users faces up with the
possibilities. That speaks volumes for the product," said Shane Roby,
director of internet services, LeSEA Broadcasting. “The
thing that always strikes me is that the people in the company really
care. All of the people that I've dealt with care about what I
have to accomplish which makes me feel like I'm a part of something.
PaperThin has a vested interest in helping me succeed.”
“The old adage ‘if
you take care of your customers, the markets will take care of you’
still holds true in this environment,” said
Bob Cellucci, senior vice president of PaperThin. “Focusing
on customer success and solving real business issues results in positive
outcomes for us, and more importantly, for our Customers.”
PaperThin’s flagship product—the
CommonSpot Web content management system—features
a new and intuitive authoring interface, RSS feeds, Blogs, Wikis, and
XML publishing and rendering capabilities. The ease-of-use inherent in
CommonSpot empowers business users to be self-sufficient and productive,
build interactive communities, and achieve faster time-to-market; while
its flexibility empowers IT and site administrators to easily adapt the
system to meet their complex and ever-changing needs. These enhancements
enable organizations to achieve better business results.
