MAGGI® Mee Contest Calls For Culinary Creations
Recognising that Malaysians have their own unique ways of preparing and eating the instant noodle, MAGGI® has come up with a contest with prizes totalling RM20,000, to give Malaysians the chance to dream up their very own unique MAGGI® Mee creations.

The fact that the versatile MAGGI® Mee can be savoured in so many ways - be it as a hearty home-cooked dish, a quick snack in a cup or as the all-Malaysian favourite MAGGI® Mee Goreng - is the inspiration for the brand's latest contest.
Recognising that Malaysians have their own unique ways of preparing and eating the instant noodle, MAGGI® has come up with a contest with prizes totalling RM20,000, to give Malaysians the chance to dream up their very own unique MAGGI® Mee creations.
Interested participants can enter the MAGGI® MEE MY WAY™ contest by logging on to the MAGGI® website or via Facebook. These cooks will have to give their recipe a creative name and select a MAGGI® Mee flavour to work with.
They will then have to upload three to five photos depicting them preparing and enjoying eating their MAGGI® Mee masterpieces. The photos must also show the ingredients used for the dish including the MAGGI® Mee flavour chosen.
Participants also need to write a short 200-word story on what inspired them to come up with their recipe and why they enjoy eating the personalised product in the unique way that they do. They must mention the list of ingredients and the chosen MAGGI® Mee flavour. All entries must be submitted by November 22, 2009.
Thirty finalists with the best MAGGI® Mee creations will then be selected based on the completeness, creativity, originality and relevancy of their photos, caption and short story.
These entries will be posted on the MAGGI® website from December 7, 2009 to January 18, 2010 for members of the public to view, comment on and vote for.
The finalist with the highest number of votes will walk away with the grand prize of RM4,000 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper.
The second, third, fourth and fifth highest votes will win the following:
2nd Prize - RM2,000 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper;
3rd Prize - RM1,000 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper;
4th Prize - RM800 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper;
5th Prize - RM500 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper.
The remaining 25 finalists will each receive a consolation prize of RM300 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper.
The participants of the MAGGI® MEE MY WAY™ contest are not the only ones who will qualify for prizes. Those who vote for their favourite recipe and creatively complete the sentence, "I voted for this entry because…" in not more than 25 words will be in the running to become one of the lucky three to win the Voters' Incentive Prize, which comprises RM100 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper.
Visitors checking out the MAGGI® MEE MY WAY™ contest website also stand the chance to win prizes - all they have to do is spread the word about the contest via the Tell-A-Friend page. They will earn points when their friends respond to the referral e-mail and register as a MAGGI® member. The three referrers with the highest points will each win the Refer Friends Incentive Prize of RM100 cash and a RM100 MAGGI® hamper.
Registration for the MAGGI® MEE MY WAY™ contest is open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above. No proof of purchase is required to enter the contest.
